From 1966 to 2025 we dropped sterile flies over South America that ate screwworm and thus prevented them from spreading, but the le epic efficient cracked coders at DOGE thought this was a silly waste of the ~0 dollars it cost us.
“In effect, Europe needs to be put down — it’s like some rabid dog running loose in the streets, and something has to be done about it.”
— stated Scott Ritter at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

@SawyerMerritt Why does SpaceX need tax breaks? Isn't it supposed to become the most "valuable" company in history but it needs tax breaks to invest in the US??
Russia’s 2036- 2050 scenario’s
putin’s regime has backed itself into a corner, believing that Russia must either rule the world or be destroyed.
At Russia’s St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), a new presentation called “Russia 2050" was shown to the public. Created by the Kremlin's favorite hardline thinkers like Alexander Dugin and Konstantin Malofeev, it lays out exactly where they want Russia to be in the next few decades.
The presentation breaks the future down into three choices:
The "Good" Future (World Domination):
By 2036, Russia wants to fully capture Ukraine, taking over major cities like Kyiv and Odesa. They also predict that the European Union will completely collapse. By 2050, Russia sees itself as the ultimate global superpower, running the show worldwide.
The "Okay" Future (Becoming a Servant):
In this version, the war against Ukraine gets stuck in a permanent tie. Because Russia is cut off from most of the world, its economy stops growing. By 2050, Russia loses its independence and becomes completely dependent on China and the U.S. just to survive.
The "Bad" Future (Total Collapse): It warns that if Russia loses the war in Ukraine, the country will fall apart, break into pieces, and be taken over and "colonised" by Western countries by 2050.
What does this all mean?
The Kremlin is using these extreme scenarios to scare their own military and politicians.
By telling them that the only choices are total victory or total destruction.
They are making sure Russia cannot stop fighting. It proves that putin’s regime has no interest in peace and they genuinely believe they must keep attacking their neighbours, or their entire country will disappear.

The slides outline their 'Good,' 'Inertial,' and 'Bad' projections for the years 2036 and 2050 as shown during the official broadcast.)
@Matt_VickersMP Oh dear...nothing better to talk about? The real "erasing of history " is the fact that the £5 with Churchill's depiction doesn't buy you much anymore...14 years of Conservative gov. and the economic/social fallout of Brexit...
