Redesigned the @tryreplicas (YC P26) product with @nikolaNoUndo .

The problem:

Coding agents got good enough that most teams now run several at once. Each one reads the same ticket a little differently and hands back its own version of the answer, so somebody has to sit in the middle and decide on it. That somebody is the soft. engineer, working across too many tabs with no reliable sense of which agent to trust today. So in this whole loop, the thing that matters the most is the human decision he needs to make.

How our team approached it:

We started with the role rather than the software, looking at the work from the engineer's side of the screen instead of ours. Some things that were not native from our point of view, were completely normal and user friendly for the soft engineers and that was the most important thing. Creating for the actual users not for yourself.

What we changed:

Every agent now lives in the same workspace as a tab. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and whatever gets added next, one shell without switching cost.

Every run comes back in the same structure regardless of which agent produced it. What it decided, the files it touched, the commands it ran, and whether it passes. The engineer reads evidence instead of a summary, which is the part that makes any of this trustworthy.

The agents do the work, the engineer decides.
