Incident Involving LOT Polish Airlines Embraer E195 in Slovenia 🇸🇮 Via @aero_in

On October 25th, 2024, an Embraer E195 (SP-LNL) operating flight LO615 from Warsaw to Ljubljana experienced issues during the final approach to runway 30.

The crew did not properly intercept the ILS signal, leading the aircraft to descend below the optimal glide path. This triggered the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), which issued alerts: "Terrain! Terrain!" and "Pull Up! Pull Up!"

The crew executed a GPWS escape maneuver, go-around, and landed safely 12 minutes later.
