Charlamagne tha God built his name on *The Breakfast Club* by being the guy who says the quiet part out loud‼️. He trolls interviews, hands out “Donkey of the Day,” and regularly goes at rappers whose music, attitude, or relationship to the culture he doesn’t respect‼️. It’s not random shade—it’s a consistent pattern‼️.

When he doesn’t like someone, he doesn’t just critique the music. He questions their authenticity, their respect for hip-hop, and sometimes their place in it‼️. Post Malone became one of the clearest, longest-running examples of that style‼️.

The first major clash happened in 2015 during Post’s early *Breakfast Club* appearance‼️. Charlamagne came in aggressive‼️. He mocked Post’s look (commenting that white people with cornrows look stupid), asked if he was a culture vulture, tried to bait him into saying the N-word, and hit him with “What are you doing for the Black Lives Matter movement⁉️” Post stayed calm and later called Charlamagne a troll whose job is to get a reaction‼️. He argued hip-hop is nuanced—you can go from Future to Kendrick—and Post’s take felt like someone who only heard the party/lean side of the genre‼��. He even joked about “mayonnaise records.” That interview was him explaining the dislike without fully walking it back‼️.

This is the pattern‼️. Charlamagne has checked plenty of rappers on air (Birdman walked out, Master P shut him down, etc.)‼️. With Post it became personal and prolonged because Post represented something Charlamagne has always been vocal about: artists who profit from the culture then talk about it like it’s lesser or disposable‼️.
