hey #mtbos I know I have seen an animation of an equal mark becoming a greater than or less than sign. Now that I want to use it, I can't find it. Anyone know what I am talking about?
Want to move students into multiplicative reasoning? A slight change in vocabulary could do that! Rather than calling it 3/4 think about what it might look like if we said 3 1/4s. Thanks @pwharris - Workshop was great. Can't wait until tomorrow!

@kjayhawk4 @momentum79 @bstockus Hello @momentum79 , I am tasked with doing a NWP PD for my 6th grade team. Any chance you'd share what you used in 2017?
It would be much appreciated!
I have been working on a collection of math tasks that I am calling "180 Days of Math Tasks." So far I am one-third of the way with 60 tasks completed. I am hopeful to also include extensions and other add-ons. The collection is here: https://t.co/BAJO38ERLi

@Trianglemancsd@tracyjoproffitt@geogebra Yes! Hoping to have rich discussion around teaching conceptually rather than starting with the algorithm with my teachers
Mark your calendars! 🗓️I couldn't be more thrilled to host this power duo as they share their experience and expertise with using games in the Math classroom! A session catered to both teachers and coaches! @tracyjoproffitt @msbrown102 https://t.co/4bVm38vvOi

@mrallanmaths@Kirstymaths@howie_hua Me too! I would use one and seven and then turn it so that’s what I would reach for when I got in the fridge all the weight is in my hand.
