🔴BREAKING | South Africa Accuses Israel of Defying ICJ Orders Over Gaza🔴

Pretoria – South Africa has submitted a dossier to the International Court of Justice accusing Israel of failing to comply with binding court orders meant to protect Palestinians in Gaza.
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation said the file was lodged on 25 August 2026. It was sent to the committee of judges that monitors whether the court’s provisional measures are being carried out and what options the court still has.

TMPD Arrests Zimbabwean and Mozambican Nationals After They Were Caught Digging Out Transnet Cables Along Koedoespoort Road in Lindo Park

The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) arrested two foreign nationals for allegedly tampering with essential infrastructure in Lindo Park, east of Pretoria, on Friday, 28 August 2026. The arrests followed a routine patrol after private security personnel alerted TMPD members about a group of African males allegedly digging out cables along Koedoespoort Road.

TMPD regional policing members, together with private security personnel, responded swiftly to the report and pursued the suspects. Two men were subsequently arrested in connection with the alleged tampering with essential infrastructure.

The suspects, identified as Zimbabwean and Mozambican nationals, were found in possession of Transnet cables and shovels allegedly used in the commission of the offence. The arrests took place during the operation in the Lindo Park area after the security personnel alerted police to the suspected cable digging.

The two arrested suspects have been detained and are expected to face charges relating to tampering with essential infrastructure. The TMPD said it remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of communities across Tshwane through vigilant and visible policing.

Four suspected railway cable thieves were arrested in Hartbeespoort after security officers tracked their vehicle and coordinated an interception on the R511 at Meerhof.

The suspects,
three men and a woman, all Zimbabwean nationals are believed to be linked to railway infrastructure and cable theft in Rustenburg.

A search recovered cash, heavy-duty bolt cutters and industrial work gear.

They were handed over to police for further investigation.
