Resident Evil as a series has fantastic atmosphere and abysmal stories to the extent that several of the most well regarded entries are borderline soft reboots with gameplay changes and an emphasis on ignoring the terrible narrative baggage. Stop pretending it's deep yk it isn't!

@ifkate You’re not playing resident evil for the plot, half of it is campy one liners and big business and military mumbo jumbo to make excuses for cool creatures. Biohazard exists and did something different and awesome, that respected the feel of resident evil, why can’t this be that.

Nolan’s adaptation of Homer looks all wrong. Old ships and wooden horses and mythical creatures. Homer works at a power plant and eats donuts. He’s friends with Lenny and Carl. I guess we’ll see. 🤷‍♂️
