@JuergenSchuster@sspendol@plamen_9 LLMs knowledge of APEXlang will not replace the need for skills. Skills are more like SOP in your team. Even with everyone having a lot of knowledge, you still want everyone to follow the same SOP for some things. At least that is how I think about these skills.
@sspendol How does this work with npx skills? npx is not needed and "skills sync" puts it out in misc directories to support various agents? i.e. not only .agents/skills and not symlinking but actual files. At least that is how it looks on my machine after running it.
@connor_mc_d We have gotten so lazy as a societety that it is not enough even with bite size information anymore. Now that information is replaced with an opinion with no information attached for context.
Citizen journalism did not at all deliver the qualiry we were promised.
@StewAshton@connor_mc_d If they present a slidument I'm off to search more on google. If the presentation is just flipping the page when they want and not when I want then sound off and I scrub through it or just stop watching.
@HeliFromFinland I'll take it one step further...
Stop obsessing over people that hurt you. Even forgiving them is spending more energy on them than they deserve. Just don't let them live rent free in your head.
@connor_mc_d I think the unpopular opinion would be to state that you hate the zoom foregrounds in the meeting.
But I agree. No video conferencing tool does a good job with the "auto green screen". I think they make the zoom fatigue worse.
@JonDixonUS @plamen_9 Great. I have not registrerad as I mix and am not at all exklusive to APEX. But If you can weed out the ones that are on topic then it may be worthwhile so I'm not just annoying readers with posts that are not even mentioning APEX.
@lukaseder It is pretty opinionated about using Java though, isn't it? How does one make the ORM as language independent as they all claim to make it database independent.
@connor_mc_d Same thing when I lived in the US. As luck would have it one such case ended with “Darn it, yes I do know that person” followed by “I also know a person from this other small place. He knew one person there, I knew one, why would it have to be the same person… :-(
@OyvindIsene And yet the corporate world is hell bent on "all employees should use Windows".
I've been plagued with every patch resetting what happens when I close the lid. The GUI still shows "do nothing" for it, changing it and then back to nothing fixes it. Most Microsoft solution ever
@khanbabars@DeniTechh @dan_ekb @uhellstr My excuse is that I don't like Starbucks. Learning/knowing JavaScript is nothing I object to. And any learning of new things at 85 is impressive.
@bwiczling@OracleDatabase Data. Star Trek could name a person that. Or maybe 23 of N. Again if seven of nine could be a name…
But can it really avoid being called Delphi?
@FranckPachot 100% agree. It had many benefits and is probably the key feature I miss in other dstabases. At least having it as an option would be nice.
@thatjeffsmith@HeliFromFinland Better practice on your "Yes Dear, you were right. Yes, again. Yes, you usually are". Some of us know it but I'd not think most has a relation to either.
You're also be told how much they despise country. They do not really know country, but they know all of it is bad.
@thatjeffsmith They'd lose their friend status with me. It needs to be pretty diluted before it is not just revolting.
This stuff was once thought to have psycadelic qualities(?). Turns out the ban was based on assumptions.
