@mcafax Happy to! Claude Code runs 24/7 on my PC, Telegram is the front door (voice notes), and each job is a skill: quotes, crew schedule, client emails. The skills work in my own roofing app, so a voice note ends up as a real draft quote. Diagram coming soon.

I'm a roofer in Montreal. I run my roofing business from my truck by sending voice notes to Claude Code on Telegram. It triages my emails, drafts quotes, builds the crew schedule and writes my training plan, then answers me by voice. Happy to share the setup if you're curious.

@jeff_barker_rei Telegram voice note → Groq Whisper (large-v3) for transcription, then Claude Code handles it. Replies come back as voice too, with Edge TTS. Whisper on Groq is basically free and fast. And yes, can't wait to try Duet, it's only in research preview for now!

@jeff_barker_rei Makes sense. Mine runs on my PC, but the session stays alive and I talk to it by voice through Telegram from the truck. It answers in voice too, so it feels portable even if it isn't.

@mcafax That's exactly where I ended up. Quotes, crew schedule, client emails: each one is a skill now. The voice note just triggers it, and my standards live in the skill, not in my head.

@jeff_barker_rei Thanks! I mostly talk to it by voice: voice notes on Telegram to "Albert", a Claude Code session on my PC. It connects through MCP to my quoting app and email, updates my quotes and drafts replies. I approve before anything goes out. What are you using Grok for?

@DannyBoehmer I still review everything before it goes out. Claude drafts the email and the PDF contract, I take a quick look and hit send. Nothing goes to a client on its own. That's my line for now: it prepares, I approve.

@premiumpin Not in email. I built my own app (mobile + desktop) and every quote lives there, filed by year: quotes, contracts, completed jobs. Claude reads and updates those records directly, so a quote that never closed stays in that year's quotes folder, easy to find and follow up.
