We're celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science!
Let's look back on the life of Marie Skłodowska Curie: a Nobel Prize laureate who dedicated her life to science and became one of the world's greatest scientists.

Multilingual students proficient with spoken English may seem like they’re doing fine. But academic language might trip them up. Here’s how you can help #ELLs in content-heavy classes.👇

With the new school year about to begin, let’s remember that not every student went on a family vacation, visited an amusement park, explored nature or met new friends at a sleepover camp in the woods.
Some students summer highlights include having a roof over their head and just enough food to survive.
These students have been counting the days to return to school for safety, consistency, support, friendship, nutrition, and hope for the future!
Thank you for everything you do for our students!

@mssloanTWE@MsHolcomb8 You are so sweet! It was an honor to be a part of your first years of teaching. I loved being the “first grade mom.” Miss you! 🩷
@MsHolcomb8 You are making me cry! 😭
I am so proud of you! You are amazing! District teachers were so lucky to learn from you today. I’m here for you today and every day. 🩷
