@brooklynnets85 Sean Marks you irrational owner a** kissing hunk of adipose tissue. I feel so damn good firing Sean Marks I’m going to sing him a song tonight na na na naaaaa!!! na na na naaaaa!!! Oh hell yeah GOODBYE!!! na na na naaaaa!!! na na na naaaaa!!! Oh hell yeah GOODBYE!!!
@UnderdogNBA I blame a lot of Nets fans for putting up with mediocrity for years on end and not putting pressure on. Even the owner u could tell when they announced Brown showed no emotion. If the owner doesn’t seem to care, why should I? The owner should stick to the WNBA and sell the team.
@imnumbauno@brooklynnets85 Our ceiling is decent if the goal is to just max out in the long term at 46-49 wins. But my bar is definitely higher than that so I will say this team is disappointing.
@brooklynnets85 Sadly this team seems doomed to maxing out at a ceiling of 49 wins in the long term even if things broke right with chemistry. As of right now I don’t see much of a chance to be much better than the 2026 Hawks unless a major trade for a top 5 player happens.
@ErikSlater_ I’m ok with trading MPJ for a star, but definitely not for Fox. I’m ok trading tge 6th pick for the right kind of star. Sustainability means nothing to me without a ceiling. I’d always choose higher ceiling over long term sustainability without contention any day.
@ClowneyMuseegor@BrooklynNetcast@BackcourtBK What does good again even mean. Be the Hawks good where you’re down by 50 in the first half in a playoff series as a 46 win team that were pushovers that was soft that mostly built their 46 win team feasting on the bottom feeders. Sounds exactly like the version of the 2012 Nets
@brooklynnets85 I agree the Knicks will always have a bigger fanbase, but too much credit is given to the Knicks. If the Nets win multiple times there’s no doubt in my mind they’d be talked about as much as the Devils or Jets.
@brooklynnets85 I’m sorry to say but not building a fan base because the Nets share NY with the Knicks who are embedded in the city is an excuse. If the Nets won multiple titles like the Devils the Nets wouldn’t be bigger than the Knicks but they could be as big as the Jets or Mets.
@brooklynnets85 This is all the fault of Joe Tsai and Nets owners. I’m so tired of hearing “we can’t build fans because it’s a Knicks town.” Oh really then explain how the Devils fill their arena with Devils fans against the Rangers when they have 60 less years of history then the Rangers.
@BobSacamano_5 Nets not being relevant in NY falls on the shoulders of the owners. I’m so tired of hearing the Nets can’t build a fanbase in Brooklyn bc it’s a Knicks town. Bull. Look at Devils they’re not making excuses 4 lack of a fans when they fill it with devils fans against the Rangers
@ARobbNJ@APOOCH Yes but u can’t use Brooklyn being a Knicks town as to the reason the Nets have overall poor fan support within the city. The Devils play in NJ not even close to the population size of Brooklyn and their fanbase is larger than the Nets and does well in games against the Rangers
@NotMeUs76@APOOCH By the Knicks winning the title, you have effectively punted any chance the Nets can have an arena of real fans that are diehards like the Devils. That matters because players are inspired and motivated more by those fans not casual fans that are indifferent to game outcomes.
@NotMeUs76@APOOCH Ur missing the point massively. Forget about for a second whether Knicks fan own NY because we know they always will. Point is the Nets are not even relevant in NBA culture landscape like the Devils are in NHL. The Devils fill their arenas with red in games against the Rangers.
@ARobbNJ@APOOCH False. Did you think the Devils winning 3 titles had no impact as to explain why red jerseys filled prudential center in a game against the Rangers back in March. Knicks will always own NY but it’s very flawed to think the Knicks winning a title had no impact on the Nets.
@joetsai1999 Mommy & daddy why are you bringing me to a Nets game. Mommy & daddy why are you not taking me to the Knicks game at MSG for a team that wins titles. Mommy and daddy why were the Nets stupid in trading the big 3 and Bridges. Who’s to blame for that daddy?
@JDeZerga@brooklynnets85 Might as well just say it as a miserable fan. You can change the uniform. You can change the coaching staff. You can change the players. You can change whatever the hell it is you want to change and the results never change.
