I think this is partially true. It depends on the kid. Some kids like competition and the camaraderie of being on a team. Being on a high school baseball team can be fun and have positive effects on your life even though it will almost certainly not advance your career (since you won't be a professional baseball player). Competition math team can be similar.
@singlwm World Cup Final, 3-3 tied after regulation and extra time. Argentina wins 4-2 in the penalty shootout. Messi scored twice. Mbappe scored 3 times. Greatest soccer game I've ever watched as it happened.
@BeltBetX @justinskycak Sort of. It's definitely easier to get an A in the courses they list. However, for an advanced pure math course, it's probably similar.
@LuchadorWWFTX @WSI_YouTube I haven't been following it as closely lately. Heavyweight division is somewhat interesting when they actually have a fight with the top guys. Jones versus Aspinall should be a great fight (if and when it actually happens).
@LuchadorFTX @kyledhamilton_ Teddy? He was the youngest president and was into wrestling, judo, and boxing. Lincoln was also a damn good wrestler and was 6'4". They could knock Taft's fat ass out.
I'm a member of an Antiochian Orthodox Church. I have not found it too difficult to integrate. A majority of the church are American converts and most of the liturgy is in English. The Middle Eastern members of the church have been friendly and welcoming as well. (My sponsor is from Lebanon).
