@Billie_T @sean_kray I was at both the 7-1 loss at Newcastle and 6-1 loss at Bolton a few weeks apart in 1996. Lost my young persons railcard and ticket home in the ground at Newcastle. That was an expensive trip back!

@dougbagleyfdl Completely agree. So disappointed that was all we got after the fantastic parade on the Friday. Too many family members trying to get their photo with the trophy and all the south and south west corner completely missed out. Really disappointed with the whole thing.

@DeputyGrocott Both of mine really suffered with this. We found magnesium sulfate paste worked the best, made them bearable really quickly. We just got ours in boots but I think most chemists will have it. Keep the area clean and try to stop him touching them as it does spread.

@Teacherglitter We have a head of dept single parent, been teaching a similar amount of time, who is moving to near Leicester from NW London because her landlord is selling her flat. That’s how far she’s had to move to afford to buy. Its so wrong. 🤬

@missradders Loved them, and still use the loci and real life graphs one now! Particularly enjoy Ben ‘he’s in Tipping Point!’ Shepherd forming a distance time graph travelling round primary schools with new band The Atomic Kitten 😂 The bearings one is good too.

@missradders We are in the same position. Couldn’t replace a teacher that left in January too. Lots of long term absence across the school and no specialist cover to be had. Also no suitable candidates applying for maths jobs this year. It’s the worst it’s ever been in my 20 years teaching

@DeputyGrocott I’m just getting my outfit ready for tomorrow, lots of staff dressing up and activities all week. I’m teaching maths A-level all day as Gangsta Granny! 6th form have lead assemblies on reading and English dept have gone all out. Always a fun day and not just in primaries 📚

@ProudlyPastoral In our school they’re 1 year contracts focusing on a particular area for school improvement. Done alongside current role as a way of giving a stepping stone into SLT. Attached to SLT rather than on SLT

@blatherwick_sam We do tests at the end of every chapter,marked with ‘feedforward’ sheets. They also have a hwk booklet with weekly hwk and consolidation tasks. We self mark these in class and I check their folders every couple of weeks and give feedback based on checklists in their hwk booklets

@harrisonmaths I got paid at the end of august. If you log on to edexcel online you can select payments from the menu on the left, you can check there to see if you’ve got any payments pending etc. You should have had it by now though…

@iisrootminusone @missradders Oh no, he was my teacher for GCSE and a big reason why I am one now. Back in the early 90s I remember bringing a radio to school to listen to the cricket and him coming to find me throughout the day to check the score! A lovely man and a great teacher, I’ve thought of him often♥️
