Soil is dying. Soil extinction is one of the most dangerous threats that humanity faces today – a phenomenon that has already resulted in hunger, violence, poverty, and death in many parts of the world
#SaveSoil is a global movement dedicated to restoring soil health @cpsavesoil
When you really know you know nothing then you can behave in two ways.
You may become overwhelmed and awe inspiring, bow down and show your gratitude.
Or
You copy cheat and do the same in your own way and show others down.
🚨So guys Pashyanti (पश्यन्ती) is now Metacognition
West is now telling us What Yogis told us 1000s of years ago that the highest form of Mantra recitation or thinking is seeing the Mantra itself in your Mind ie (Pashyanti) than speaking (Vaikhari) or speaking inside (Madhyama)
When you spend time in the forest, you realize you are just one more Life. It is a huge spiritual step to feel for Life around you the way you feel for yourself. #SadhguruQuotes
Want to save soil in the big concrete city, where land is at a premium?
It's definitely possible!
Flexible methods like the Miyawaki Forest, can allow even extremely small plots of land to rejuvenate soil and become biodiversity hotspots.

We are doing many things to revive this Civilization in many ways and Inner Engineering is a part of this spiritual revival - a simple process through which individual human beings can rise. Shambhavi Mahamudra is a seed. If you nurture it, it will grow and become a big tree and bear fruit that you cannot imagine right now. Make this happen for yourself. One mistake we made that led us to damage the planet was to see our soils, plants, air and water as commodities not as living beings.
So it is crucial for each of us to establish a healthy relationship with our soil in any way we can.

1 bowl of “stale” rice.
And a microbiology lesson older than the microscope.
Today across North India, Basoda is observed.
No fresh cooking.
Food prepared the previous night is eaten cold - often rice with curd.
At first glance, it looks like a ritual of austerity.
But look closer.
When cooked rice sits overnight, something interesting happens.
The cooling starch reorganizes into resistant starch - what modern nutrition calls a prebiotic.
Naturally occurring lactic bacteria begin mild fermentation.
Add curd, and the meal becomes probiotic.
In other words, a gut-friendly microbial meal.
Today scientists explain this through microbiology and gut flora.
But communities across India have practiced similar food traditions for centuries.
Panta bhat in Bengal.
Pakhal in Odisha.
Pazhaya sadam in Tamil regions.
Poita bhat in Assam.
All variations of overnight fermented rice.
Different regions.
Same seasonal wisdom.
Before laboratories and microscopes, people watched the body, the seasons, and food itself.
Observation became tradition.
Tradition became ritual.
Sometimes culture preserves knowledge long before science finds the vocabulary for it. 🌾

Again, this also has an Ancient India connection :)
Ayurveda did not know about Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs) like Butyrate (another key diabetes-fighter), but it knew about Takra.
In the Charaka Samhita, Buttermilk (Takra) is described as a digestive aid, probiotic-like food, & treatment for gut-related issues
Specific fermentation process of traditional Indian buttermilk creates a high concentration of Butyrate & Probiotics that are uniquely suited to the Indian diet.
Ayurveda suggests adding Cumin & Ginger to Takra. In 2026, we know that these spices act as probiotics, fueling the exact bacteria (like Akkermansia) that produce the molecules that reverse insulin resistance.
