When such posts are framed in a one-sided manner, it raises serious concerns about fairness, representation, and social harmony. This is not just about wording it reflects how inclusively a government institution sees its own people.
If the intention was to honour those who sacrificed their lives in the war, that message is understandable. However, using the term “war heroes” in a way that appears to represent only one side, or one community, creates unnecessary division and hurt.
If anyone wants war, let the country leaders fight each other instead of sending ordinary people 2 die. & when ple blindly defend systems that limit their own freedom, it sometimes feels like a chicken supporting KFC.
My position is simple: stop killing innocent people. Whether it’s happening in Iran, Palestine, Gaza, India, or the North & East of Sri Lanka, civilian lives should never be the price of religion, politics, or power.
