For the last 10 years I’ve built B2B software for SMBs.

Recently I built something a bit different. A tiny music sharing app called radr.

You pin up to 7 songs and share them. That’s it. Just human to human recommendations.

I built it because I like building. And honestly, there are fewer excuses than ever not to build the random ideas you care about.

I’ve been doing this on my own using AI as a co-builder. Prototyping, cleaning up code, debugging weird edge cases. The speed is insane.

It reminded me how fun it is to just make something and put it out there.

People say LLMs are like having a super smart, always-available intern.

But that undersells it.

I can start building something, disappear for 4 days because life + kids + 12 other ideas…

Then come back Sunday at 11:48pm with:
“Wait. Scrap it. What if we flip the whole thing?”

And it just calmly responds:
“Great. Here’s the revised plan.”

No re-brief.
No “just checking in.”
No emotional damage.

That’s not an intern.

That’s a 24/7 thought partner that tolerates my founder brain in ways no human should have to.

The always-available part is impressive.

The never-loses-the-thread part is the real magic.

Streaming gave us all the music in the world and somehow made sharing worse.

Playlists became endless.
Recommendations got outsourced to algorithms.
Sharing stopped feeling intentional.
