CEO of @GitKraken, maker of legendary dev tools used by millions. Former @mautic, @applause, @acquia & @hermanmiller; Michigan guy at heart; tweets are my own.
Of all the AI coding tools that I use, @GitKraken is the one that I can't imagine living without
Even Claude Code and Codex are more or less interchangeable
But if I didn't have GitKraken, I would really have no fucking idea what is going on with my agents
It would just be a giant, irresolvable mess much of the time
“GitKraken is the only reason I don’t hate Git.”

@juanfranblanco@GitKraken Love hearing these stories from out in the wild, Juan. Glad we helped you avoid a crisis that would’ve cost you a big block of time that could be better spent building!
My favourite git GUI @GitKraken added AI support, finally!!!
Can now auto-gen commit messages + description, explain what happened in commits with real code examples and so on.
Hurray what a day to be a dev! 🥳🥳🥳
@BeyondLimits99@GitKraken So glad you like it, Rob. Nothing brings us greater satisfaction than delivering genuine delight into the lives of developers!
So much more product goodness like this in the coming months… Stay tuned.
@Technovangelist@GitKraken Hey Matt. GitKraken AI is indeed included in Pro plan, albeit w/ fewer tokens and basic use cases. Advanced & Business plans include much higher number of tokens and will add more complex workflows in coming releases. Lmk if you're running into problems with accessing AI in Pro
Improved GitLens support for Cursor & Windsurf! Giving you more power and flexibility in your favorite VS Code-based editors. Try it out! https://t.co/Rr6j4i8Pbm
Recently, I picked up a part time gig working on a React app for a medical logistics startup and decided to use @GitKraken this time around at a full-time capacity. I am in 😍. Merging or rebasing in the GUI is smooth and not one I was expecting. I said goodbye to GitHub Desktop on the first day...lol

If you’re an early adopter, I think it’s worth looking into Phoenix as the next big tech hub. Not only do we have sick companies like @GitKraken@GoDaddy@Carvana, new data centers, and new semi conductor fabs, but a load of untapped builders with explosive potential
Somehow, I managed survive as a SWE for almost 10 years without needing to compare two big branches side-by-side, until now. @GitKraken you are the best, always making my life easier.
For a week now I've been using GitKraKen for my GitHub workflow and It's been super easy for me . You can literally do everything on it, create repos, sign commits, branch managements and many more. I highly recommend it .
Thanks to @GitKraken
@axelpardemann@GitKraken We’ve been discussing this as part of 2025 planning, but I don’t yet have an ETA yet.
It’s not in Jan or Feb sprints, but still discussing scope & timing beyond that. Would you be willing to speak with GitLens product manager about which capabilities are most valuable to you?
@DominikRohacek@GitKraken Please let me know what about our account management isn’t working; I’d love to get our team leaned into fixing it ASAP.
Is this issue on https://t.co/XpI9qpATAF? Or in GitKraken Desktop? What’s the issue you’re encountering?
