Iโve long thought lay down options in a slower aircraft would be the best option. You get proper sleep (lay down + longer duration). The challenge would be finding a commercially viable aircraft that benefits from the slower speed efficiency but has the range for this niche use case.

@DanielLurie has done a lot to improve SF, it was great to meet him. Glad he is our mayor.
He kindly also did not kick the seat in front of him (mine) all flight ๐ซ
Big milestone: @beacon_a_i has signed a 4-year Phase 3 Prototype OTA with USSOCOM worth up to $49.5M.
We build AI systems that help pilots avoid unsafe actions, manage complexity, and perform at a higher level in aviation's most demanding environments.
Proud of the team. More to come!
The details coming out on the WSO rescue are pretty amazing ๐บ๐ธ
Just goes to show you how hard the U.S. will work to retrieve someone behind enemy lines
Awesome to hear heโs been rescued
Given the evasion, the two blown C-130s, and the total amount of personnel involved, there are some wild stories yet to fully come out
Hand on the โtowel rackโ to avoid over controlling at a time when it isnโt needed (trimmed already). Itโs been a long time since I went through flight school but I believe the main initial cause for this change was a prior jet that was easy or prone to over control and this was the simple solution.
