@Rendall_SH His play with Wales is positive too. When somewhat match fit, he scored, dribbled and played excellent. Just needs confidence and regular playing time. Signs clearly pointed to a checked out and disinterested, aloof player who was burnt and exhausted by the media,fans,club.

@Rendall_SH That is the biggest thing with Bale that many Real fans under appreciate. When its tight and deadlocked, Bale is one of the only players who can make something happen out of nothing. His WC crossing with a no9 like Kane can be potentially the catalyst to Tottenham going on a run.

@Rendall_SH It was a lose-lose situation for him. With his wages, his role in the team was always going to sink him with the club/fans. Zidane wanted him out and he succeeded by burying him. Both sides needed to move on. His legacy at Madrid will be determined by Reals next 10-15yrs in UCL.

@BoozeLords They're the worst when it comes to sportsmanship. Ever seen Canada/USA womens hockey post game handshakes? They can't even look at each other in the eye. Women hold on to grudges a lot more than men when it comes to sport.
