@bbctms This the same guy who denied there was a drinking culture within the team. Literally made a rod for his own back with the way he's handled the Ashes fallout
@BBCMOTD Playing the victim card. Get in the bin. Some people will say the punishment is harsh, but its systemic cheating and has no place in football. They're lucky the points deduction is low, if it was me it would be more like 12/15 so they struggle to make playoffs next year
@SouthamptonFC You cheated and now you're trying to play the victim. Take your punishment. You're lucky the EFL only gave you a 4 point deduction to, if it was up to me it would have been more like 10/15 to make sure you had minimal chance of making playoffs next year
@rugbyontnt@LeicesterTigers@SaintsRugby There's a double standard here... I've seen Heyes actions here described as "disgraceful unsportsmanlike conduct", yet if he had blonde hair and a Northampton shirt on the same people would be saying things like "oooo isn't he fired up for the derby"

@PlanetRugby Swap out Jacques Vermeulen for Ernst Van Rhyn.... JV been very good this year for Sale (and Exeter before) but Van Rhyn has been exceptional since he arrived in Manchester, high quality and high work rate
@scrumming_ten@PlanetRugby My point was more aimed at Williams original comments. Ultimately every coach has a squad to pick from and they're entitled to pick whichever 23 players they choose, I just find it frustrating that Williams singled out Sale for doing what lots of other teams have been doing
@footballontnt Frank Lampard doing a fantastic job, no question, but dont pretend its not built on the foundation set by his predecessor Mark Robins. Both jobs Lampard has had in the Championship he's taken over a playoff ready team
@bbctms@TheBarmyArmy Imagine a cricketer getting to the age of 31 and needing a spanking during the Ashes to wake you up to the idea of professionalism. I'm all for players having freedoms but if he couldn't do the bare minimum for a pro athlete then he should be banned from playing for England again
@dharvey4@MikeKeegan_DM Ive said the same thing but its still not that simple... richer NFL owners find ways round the salary cap with signing bonuses and incentive/roster payments... the bigger clubs will find a way to do the same thing
@RugbyPass I swear Pollock gets scored differently. He made one good tackle, then gave the French a lifeline by losing the ball while attempting a crazy off load.... and that warrants a 7/10. Made virtually no impact all tournament
@SixNationsRugby Pollock gets so much air time but has had a poor tournament, he's barely made any impact and his showboating cost England the game at the end today. Undoubtedly a fantastic talent but he's not half as good as he thinks he is yet.
