A family member said the drag queen Olympic opening ceremony made her want to puke. She asked for my thoughts.

Here’s what I told her:

1. It shows that Christianity is true — the powers & principalities aren’t interested in mocking other religions because they aren’t real.

2. Every host country highlights its culture. France’s is post-Christian paganism bought into the progressive cult. It sucks, but just as predictable as Chinese ancestor worship.

3. All opening ceremonies are weird and terrible except for the parade of nations. That’s what happens when you put artists in charge of stuff.

4. I’m grateful for the ability to pause live TV so we didn’t have to watch the clown show.

5. I like telling my 10 & 7 year-olds, “We’re skipping this because those are men dressed up like women” and seeing the look of revulsion on their faces. God’s created order is pretty straightforward to kids.

6. I still like the Olympics and hope Team USA crushes everyone.
