@MattWallace888@ahujasahil1@elonmusk Well no, you imagine Tesla’s stock price is unaffected by his selling and that margin can be called instantaneously. There is, in fact, some small chance he will have less money than SBF in a few years. Which would be impressive in some sense
@MattWallace888@elonmusk A) Probably too stressed about getting margin called on a real company B) Going to have to double check the definition of working and improve on this one
@UN_Women@UNESCO@UN_Women you realize implying this indicates a bias against women means that you don’t understand how basic statistics work. There are women who know mathematics, have your communications majors consult with them.
@elonmusk Your problem is more practical than moral, having no where near the time or labor required you had to have just fired software engineers almost at random. Worse than random if you used lines of code per week
@shreyas_honrao It’s probably not true to what Musk is trying to do, but we really can’t have people talking about Jewish Space lasers having the same credibility as scientists so maybe a ? symbol for politicians and the intermediate level can identify the botnets that promote the conspiracies
@shreyas_honrao It also tempers trust in the checks to only assuming it’s associated with billing info. Given that some of the craziest conspiracies are touted by high profile pillow salesmen, this may be beneficial. Possibly reintroduce different color checks for economists, scientists, etc.
@shreyas_honrao I see the position that we don’t want bots gaining trust. But the billing info has identification, could add names on accounts, and a higher proportion of people identified w/billing info could make bot activity more detectable making false news expensive to spread
@AOC Aside from it being free sans check marks: servers are expensive, server maintenance is expensive, software engineers are expensive, and the average user with a checkmark is likely upper middle to upper class so this is probably the one Twitter business move that makes sense
@PierreGASLY@F1 It’s the complete nonchalant French-ness of everyone just having fun on the day, mashing with the unwashed masses on Twitter forcing every minute into systemic social commentary for me
@brady_h Probably 30-35 then I’d lay down and nap, I’ve done 6:20 pace for a Marathon but I’ve never done an Ultra and honestly think I’d just start to crash after mile 26 pretty hard
@brady_h Usually health trends that are very unnatural tend to get debunked anyway, like the whole don’t eat any fat thing that was going on for about half a decade
