Turns out, AI isn't making us more productive. It's making us cognitively bankrupt.
Here's what 4 months of data revealed:
(hint: we've been measuring productivity all wrong)
There are heaps of examples that have shown improvements in NYC traffic since the toll. Fewer cars. More riding the bus. Quieter. Safer. Cleaner. But that's going to be thrown away, for one man's ego? Sad.
While questions are being raised about New York’s congestion pricing toll scheme, our 2025 Traffic Index ranked NYC as the slowest moving city in North America. https://t.co/eE7iPJLLLo #congestionpricing#NewYork#TomTom
Cars being produced to a budget, will go for the budget option. Off the shelf software, that provides a safe and predictable experience. Marques that have a brand and experience to uphold simply must go bespoke, innovate and develop tech that redefines their driving experience.

Skip over the marketing and we realize that this is what carmakers will have to do to differentiate their vehicles from the competition.
There's all this chat about software defined vehicles, which is both very specific and very vague at the same time. But this offers some clarity into the spectrum of how software defines vehicles.
