@TMLFan_80@DanTopping2@Canes Most of the teams that would do this aren’t concerned about a mid round pick, for a player who MAY be in the nhl 5 years from now, and likely not of any notable impact drafted in that round.
@TMLFan_80@DanTopping2@Canes Yes maybe the agent has been, even though they shouldn’t be. However the teams management can speak to them directly and sell the city/team, talk contract. When you covet a player and know there are many other suitors, you’re willing to give up a pick to get any leg up
