@business Not sure why there aren't positions like air traffic controllers for the rail industry who's entire job is to monitor traffic and make sure this doesn't happen.
Look at that price action from 4pm - 5pm. 500 point sell off from the high. Earnings, FOMC decisions, mid-term elections, Iran War and many many more headlines are bringing major volatility. Make sure you are sized appropriately and are protecting your capital.
Tough NY session today. 1 Win, 1 Loss and 1 B/E. -$40 to finish on my Topstep 50k combine. Direction was right, entries were shit. I YOLO'd a $25k Lucid Pro after the FOMC press conference and I hit max loss limit. Not the end of the world. Onwards
@colyn06798606@Kalshi_Finance Property tax increases wouldn't be substantial. The amount your assessed is less than the market value of the house. And unless you live in tornado alley, florida or another high risk zone, premiums shouldn't be skyrocketing.
Pretty good day of trading. Caught a nice short at NY open this morning for $638. Globex/Asia was a little sloppy, but I was able to caught a nice long a few mins ago. 1 winner, 1 B/E and 1 loser for -$100. Need $435 on Thursday to request a $1500 payout on my Lucid Pro 25k!
@Rager@Kalshi Bingo - It's crazy to think that a 250k home like 6 years ago at sub 3% interest costs less than a 1 BR apartment currently. It's a delicate position to be in as a current owner. I've seen coworkers upgrade, but they are married and their incomes have gone up, so I get it
@Rager@Kalshi Congrats on locking in that equity! I'm a first time homebuyer and I'm on the sidelines until prices and rates drop, or I secure a major promotion
