@benga1scentre Been 15 years and he still talks bad about the organization every chance he gets.
Dillon and Dunlap being frustrated in the moment is forgivable. Palmer seems to have never gotten over his frustrations.
In 2011, I was at a NASCAR media event and a frustrated reporter arrived late, just missing Kyle Busch.
Busch recognized it, walked up to the guy and offered an interview. They talked for several minutes.
Small thing, but spoke volumes. Never forgot that. RIP Rowdy.
Reading @CKlosterman’s “Football” — it’s brilliant — and he told the reader to think of the best open field run they remember, so I had to pull this up.
Feels like this year was the most pessimistic I’ve seen Cavs fans entering the playoffs the last few seasons, so of course they’re going to cruise to the Finals.
@Ben_Baby The flip side of this is he gives some awesome quotes and insights. The floor is low, yes, but the ceiling is also high. Enjoyed covering him a bit in Columbus.
1. Fun to hear ZT in a conversational setting. He’s as likable as they come.
2. I love how much Schrager loves the NFL. Some reporters fall out of love with the sport after a while. He’s still smitten.
New "The Schrager Hour" is up.
Guest: @Bengals HC Zac Taylor
45 minute deep-dive on this franchise, its inner workings, this team, the QB, the big trade, the LB position, Taylor's love of craps, and more.

An email from the NFL announcing that a schedule announcement will be announced. No date. Just that a thing that has to happen will happen.
This is also the first time I’ve ever seen a Browns player and the words “Super Bowl” on the same graphic.
This is considered to be a hugely significant season for Joe Burrow and his future in Cincinnati, per @AdamSchefter
“If the Bengals cannot turn it around, some have speculated about whether Burrow might wonder whether he is better off playing in another NFL city.”
My biggest offseason issue with the Bengals the last few years has been that they hoped guys would outperform their contracts/draft slots rather than ensuring they had legit pros at key positions.
Feels like the strategy changed this offseason.
Some of the same people I’ve seen call the Bengals cheap are saying they’re foolish for (presumably) extending Dexter Lawrence rather than paying a rookie deal.
Pick a narrative and stick with it, folks.
