Of course, sitting in a car with 4 kids (ranging from 14 down to 1) for 14+ hours isn't what @SherryF122 or I had planned to do last night/today when we left for DC...

We're in from out of town. All reports said snow was stopping by 2pm. We didn't get the warnings until it was too late.

DC weather said snow should end by 2pm. Nothing was said about highway issues until it was too late to go anywhere else.
Please tell me what who said what 2 days ago so I would know not to come to DC this week?

Why was I-95 not maintained properly? Snow ended at 2. Why has the Nat Guard not been sent?
My 4 kids, my wife, & I have been stuck for 6+ hours (some on rd for 12+). We were driving from out of state and didn't get warnings.

.@PGHDPW We're having major issues in South Sq Hill w/people racing down Beechwood to make the light at Hazelwood. My neighbors & I have had 3 cars totaled & 2 cars damaged in 18 months - all in hit and run accidents. We need more speed bumps, better lights, & cameras please!

Federally backed loans are fronted by the taxpayer, and if defaulted are paid for by taxpayers.

Don't think that because I took out a loan that your money wasn't already involved.

It's OK that the economy crashed, but one of the only debts that can't be discharged in bankruptcy is a student loan?
There's a problem when it costs more $$ for school than a place to live
