Drivers at Shepper’s Distribution in Columbia and Jefferson City, Mo., have unanimously ratified the best contract they’ve ever had at the distributor, including the largest wage increases ever received. Shepper’s Distribution handles the delivery of Anheuser-Busch products and other alcoholic beverages throughout the region.
“We’re lucky to have prosperous middle-class careers thanks to our Teamsters membership, but there’s no reason other beer drivers shouldn’t have what we have,” said Zach Wolken, a Shepper’s driver. “We’re building a movement for working class prosperity, so if you also want a chance at getting the best raise you’ve had in over two decades, come join us.”

The Republicans are trying to execute the Robin Hood principle in reverse:
They're taking from working people and the poor, and giving to billionaires.
DOGE recommended firing workers at:
-FDA, which oversees Neuralink
-FAA, which oversees SpaceX
-USAID, which probed Starlink
-CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X.
"Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.
Do you want to run the US government? It's easy. All you have to do, like Musk, is contribute $277 million to Trump’s campaign.
That’s oligarchy. Not democracy.
We must end this corrupt campaign finance system, overturn Citizens United & move to the public funding of elections.
HHS staff just got an email saying there "is no HHS expectation" that staff respond to Musk email
"Assume that what you write will be read by malign foreign actors"
@Bolshetrick Most the people on Twitter complaining aren’t Teamsters from what I can tell. A lot of people overreacting to simple candidate meetings. They did these last month with Kennedy and West and we do these at all levels of government.
@CorceliusMusic @1md_c@TeamsterSOB If you work for a union then you should know that you have to have conversations every day with horrible managers that might never change. To not even sit down guarantees that nothing will change.
@CorceliusMusic @TeamsterSOB I have no idea. But if a meeting can get 1 bill passed that moves the dial forward for our members then it’s worth a meeting. It’s not an endorsement… it’s a meeting.
@CorceliusMusic @TeamsterSOB If you don’t meet with politicians that don’t share your point of view and explain your point of view how do you ever expect them to vote better?
Congratulations to the Teamsters on the recent UPS contract ratification. This historic agreement will pave a brighter future for workers across the state. I'm incredibly proud to have organizations like the Teamsters in Kansas.

@PeterLyngso@Taibi251 @JFNegrete_952 We have part timers in our local getting a $5.50 pay increase. That’s life changing for some people. We also have long term part timers that make over $30 because they have been there so long and have gotten all the increases. They are getting a significant increase they deserve
