Behind the scenes we're using Anthropic’s Claude Managed Agents infrastructure. The agent runs under your Anthropic org with your pre-existing billing and configuration.

Jira 🤝 @ClaudeAI
You can now delegate tasks to the Claude Agent and go from work item to draft PR without ever leaving Jira.
One control plane for the entire SDLC.
Today we’re making it easier to take work defined in Jira and open it in your local environment.
From Jira, open directly in Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, VS Code, and Rovo CLI.
The work item summary, description, and key will be passed as a prompt and your agent can use MCP to fetch any other fields that it might need.
A few clicks from Jira. Your agent is ready to go.
Deep-link to your AI coding tool of choice, like @OpenAI’s Codex, @Claude Code, or Rovo Dev CLI, with full context auto-filled.
Less prompting. More shipping.
@GergelyOrosz Certainly very similar to what we’re seeing with @Jira - millions of workflows each month being powered by agents in automation loops. It’s been exploding over the last two years when we introduced agents in loops.
Jira 🤝 @cursor_ai
Assign Jira work items to Cursor and let a cloud agent get to work—building, triaging, and opening PRs with context from the Atlassian Teamwork Graph.
One connected workflow for teams and AI agents, from intent to code.

Cursor is now available in Jira.
Assign Cursor to work items, or mention @Cursor in a comment to kick off a cloud agent.
Cursor uses the title, description, comments, and your team's repository settings to create a merge-ready PR.
One of our interaction guidelines for AI experiences is that "both content and form should be composable". What we mean by that is that you should be able give any kind of input (text, video, button click) via any interface - and it can be dynamically recomposed into another format or action by AI.
A great example is being able to effortlessly turn video into code. I've recorded this live demo of the Loom Bug Report feature -> where I see a potential UI bug, and all it takes is my 15 second ramble in a Loom video to be well on the way to a production fix.
📺The demo highlights:
- how seamlessly Teamwork Collection apps (Loom and Jira) go together
- how agents and people both use the rich context in the Teamwork Graph
- how we help teammates to get work done together, even if the way they think is very different

Agents are now live in Jira!
You can assign work to agents, mention them in comments, or add them directly to your existing Workflows. Check out how you can work with the @github Copilot coding agent right on the work item.

@anmol_soin@github Yes, it’s possible. You can configure permissions for Rovo custom agents from Studio. More details under “Control who can see and use your agent” here: https://t.co/b7LeSmUc6n
