I think we're finally starting to see conversations that might lead to a tipping point in the web dev world. Things are too complicated for most projects. We've dug this hole of maximum complexity. We're going to see a lot of "no build" soon. I'm here for it.
If movies have taught me anything it’s that I need to be worried about @elonmusk and his empire when he, despite his social good-will, inevitably turns evil.
There was a brief time when tribalism in the web development world was a lot lower. It's ratcheted back up and is crazy right now. People need to relax.
@mikerockett@marcelpociot It exists for Valet and you can try to hack it in there but it's not actually supported by Herd and lead to a hassle for me.
It would be nice if it was supported.
If you know something I don't I'd be happy to learn.
@christophrumpel@beyondcode I can't get mine to build on a brand new install or in an existing application. I guess I'll just have to wait for other people to have the same issue.
@taylorotwell DHH talked about this way back when describing Basecamp as a monolith. I’ve been trying to stick to it ever since. Hardest part for me is naming a new controller…
@svperfecta Sad day in the PUBG world. Thanks again for all of the work you put into the game and the time you spent with me (@pubglookup) over the years.
I'll be following along to see what's next for you.
