🏟️🌳 City Ground Expansion Update 1/2

📈 New planning documents confirm Forest's redevelopment proposals could take the City Ground to an overall capacity of up to 52,500.

🏗️ The Peter Taylor Stand and Trent End redevelopment is designed to deliver a 45,000 capacity stadium, with the proposed Brian Clough Stand redevelopment capable of adding up to a further 7,500 seats.

🚌 As part of the planning process, the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) is requesting a public transport package worth more than £2.25m.

💰 This includes up to £1.75m for bus improvements, ticket incentives and sustainable transport measures, around £386k towards extended Park & Ride use and £120k for real-time public transport information displays.

🎟️ EMCCA estimates around 39 event days per year — approximately 27 Forest home fixtures plus 12 other events, including concerts and other sporting events.

⚠️ The £2.25m+ package is an EMCCA request at this stage and is NOT an agreed final Section 106 contribution.
