Dread to think how bad the abuse by US fans is gonna get if Europe actually get half a chance of winning the #RyderCup tomorrow... #notgolf

[Matt Bates @mattjbates]

@mortsie16 me too mate! I was predicting a US win before today but it could be a thrashing if we don't get our act together this evening!

[Matt Bates @mattjbates]

No need to panic (yet) but I can't quite believe how badly some of the Euro lads have played. Fingers crossed for the Fourballs! #RyderCup

[Matt Bates @mattjbates]

Decision to leave Willett out for Pieters could prove crucial. Pieters looked rattled on 1st + is surely more of Fourballs player? #RyderCup

[Matt Bates @mattjbates]

Now after a manic day of phone calls and house visits from healthcare people I get to chill and watch some Ryder Cup! Bliss!!

[Matt Bates @mattjbates]

I'm housebound after my surgery so couldn't make it to any #MacmillanCoffeeMorning but wish all events very best. Macmillan ppl are special!

Not normally a fan of waking up at 2am but tonight's a bit different with this debate! Top viewing. Like that live West Wing episode.

So gutted about Arnold Palmer. What an amazing person he was. I love seeing old clips of him at his peak + loved seeing him at Augusta. RIP

[Matt Bates @mattjbates]

@KevinUnitt @stevecarpo probably the one I'd be most proud of mate. Anyone can break an embargo, what you managed with him was special!
