The line of LSD connect-the-dots being pushed by clickbait media types and NC media who cannot get the time of day from the current coaches of Carolina Football. is pathetic.

For the last 5 years UNC Football has been an Aw Shucks Good Ol’Boy waterfall of quotes. You could walk by the Kenan Football Center and basically be told the gameplan, and the local fanboy sites played their part, literally spreading false information about players because that’s what the coaches told them to do.

Mack Brown emotionally owned the national and local media at an absurd level. Mack was and is everybody’s buddy. Now that it’s not the case with the new UNC coaches, some media around Chapel Hill, and elsewhere, are poised to take their shots.

They can’t criticize the on field product, yet, so they roll with the Perez Hilton of Sports Clique, and talk about personal issues which have nothing to do with coaching football. Anything for clicks.

Personally, I get tired of hearing people who have never played above the Xbox Madden rookie level, have never coached a game other than their kids pee wee team, hired a coach, etc. Folks who never participated, but they have all the answers. Why anyone gives this junk the time of day says a lot about society today.

Tar Heel Football’s portal class is strong as are ticket sales. But since the spoiled, entitled media “corpses” had not had a presser for content since the opening of spring ball, they feel slighted and pass this garbage off as relevant, which, again, says more about what passes as “news”. More than not media is just the raw sewage which is stories like this, pushed by low t level ethics pretenders who have a perverse desire for attention. -mw
