I get it, but permanent DST means the sun doesn’t rise until almost 9 am in some places in the winter. Trying to force everyone to wake up 3 hours before sunrise creates a lot of health and safety issues. The US actually did this in 1974 and the backlash was so huge, it had to be repealed after only 9 months.
