Proposal: I mean absolutely no one wants common sense gun legislation, but I also realize there are 100s of mass shooting each year making it taxing to type "Thoughts and prayers" after each. How about we agree just type "T+P" to save time!
@BrynDonovan @odysseytospace @timabray@legroff@chrishelman@kashhill So if something spews out an emotionless mess why would we care? No one would read it.
@stonecold603@Jeffrey28627067@ScottAdamsSays@JimBowersclimb A fortiori. If you look at his study, his point was that the climate models are too conservative and that he doesn't believe the models since they say global warming will take a while to take effect. Also, he's not a climate scientist (though at least he's some sort of scientist)
@bufutalo@ScottAdamsSays Not sure how that is relevant to my comment but can you give me a link to show that a majority of scientists said 25 years ago we wouldn't have any fish? Maybe even one reputable scientist? I have a feeling I'm being trolled but bait taken. (maybe this is sarcasm?)
@DawnTJ90@DrainBammag@ScottAdamsSays@JimBowersclimb That's quite a specious argument. When people on Internet say climate change they mean "large scale, severe, man made climate change". Just judging from this group, there seem to be some who deny that.
@ScruffyCon@ScottAdamsSays I appreciate and understand that perspective. Government isn’t a disembodied entity Even with oil companies and big businesses influence, if people change their minds government will follow
@ScruffyCon@ScottAdamsSays Which top scientists? The vast majority of climate scientists recognize co2 as being the critical factor for global warming . Tell me if you need citations!
@GPCBackwards@ScottAdamsSays I guess I would say how many times in the last 50 million years have we had an extinction level solar flare event. …and extrapolate. Ie is the dance 75 percent? 50 percent in the next few years?
@GPCBackwards@ScottAdamsSays So you seem to be saying that since we don’t completely understand all dacerts of the universe we should not make predictions
@GPCBackwards@ScottAdamsSays Let me reiterate. I know nothing about solar flares. It just seems that equating solar flares with the much more real risk of extinction based on global warming doesn’t make sens
