@ATRightMovies Gravity. Middle of the week at an IMAX, first showing of the day. Cold and snowy. They couldn’t get the heat working so manager offered me my money back. Had my coat, hat and gloves so decided to stay. Amazing. Totally alone and could see my breath. I’d pay to recreate that day.
@aisha_dickerson I call everyone by their first name. I’ve never started an email, letter or conversation any other way. If people have a problem with it, that’s on them, not me. Has it kept me from getting a job? No idea. But, if so, those are people I never would have enjoyed working with.
@Skate_a_book So, I’ve been “that guy” but here’s the truth. When I got there the other spots were all taken. I took the last spot and walked away. Came back and it looks like this. So it wasn’t ignorant or intentional. Just no other option.
INSANE conditions on Mt Washington, NH. 120mph+ winds and -95°F wind chill. It is above the tropopause, meaning that these are stratospheric winds.
Footage from the summit live stream 2:30-2:40pm. #nhwx
@TESLA_winston Report them. Defeat devices are a danger to everyone on the road, especially Turo-renters who may be unaware of the system's capabilities.
@DrSarahSperry I just retired my 2010 iMac. It only because it couldn’t update to the existing MacOS. Was still working great otherwise. Have the same blue as you now!!
@Robecology2@BLKMDL3 This is exactly what I recommended above! The I-81 corridor is so much nicer a drive. I go all the way up to Scranton and then cut across to NE. But Harrisburg is a great option too.
@BLKMDL3 I'd seriously consider cutting north at Greensboro and taking the I-81 route to Harrisburg and then over to NYC. Driven from Greensboro to Cape Cod and back in my Y 6 times this year and this route is so much nicer and easier.
“The history of these places didn’t start and stop with this man,” a landscape architect said, of Frederick Law Olmsted. “These places that were designed by him have oftentimes been at risk and have been saved by and reclaimed by communities of color.” https://t.co/Rb1YT1EhCI
