@conpaul503@inandaway@renew_economy Energy generation is happening increasingly in regional Australia. But charging infrastructure doesn't exist for this application yet
@conpaul503@renew_economy Charging infrastructure isn't available for the capacity required for long haulage routes as there isn't the truck options being uptaken by the transport industry. Renewable energy generation is becoming increasingly cheaper, large transport players may invest themselves
@transportnewsoz @renew_economy Different applications for different products. Long distance line haulage for heavy loads isn't yet an option but certainly local deliveries or lighter load applications will have options with cost saving business cases.

@QBCCIntegrity@KayC_Jayne@Bowenchris China has 1200GW of renewable energy now installed. 2022 they installed ~125GW of wind and solar. Their outlook is to install more wind and solar. Nuclear will be a tiny fraction of their power development

@Sarini44 @StevenGreen31 @Bowenchris You don't have to remove as much if you go underground.
Yes you can recycle them work current technology.
Cost of nuclear power plants put them out of the equation
