@iannuttall Thanks for the nod to my personal Aged Asset (her 20th birthday's coming up). Love the suggestions below. Might just give it a new coat of paint.
@_LucasRizzotto Thanks for the flash of nostalgia. Fun when I was a kid, but so many extra steps to get to apps. Customization of the Bob house felt like a burden more than meaningful personalization (which tracks with Oculus Home).

@helenstravels So true. Once the iOS camera app was changed to find them by default, it opened up a lot of possibilities to engage the "second screen". Even more relevant as a no-touch option during COVID.
@JesseDamiani@BlastonGame is great. Perfect use of the medium. 1 on 1 human opponents makes for a rich set of offense and defense strategy. Fixed podium so no motion sickness. Can burn a few hundred calories in a good session.
@chetfaliszek Careful with Fiverr logos. I've heard a lot of folks on there tweak standard templates so you can end up with a logo with a lot of close cousins out in the wild.
@amyneurons A bump map applied with tri-planar texture mapping worked pretty well in Neuron Safari. And yeah, if you're making a video, get some subtle drifting sprite particle specks in there to reinforce a liquid organic environment.
Looking good, Eyewire neurons!
@amyneurons Digging the lighting, subsurface scattering, and depth of field. A subtle rim light often looks good on organic models. A little bloom like your first screenshot 👍. Could add a some distance fog to help the viewer resolve relative depth of things at a glance.
@BrennanSpiegel@virtualmedconf 30-60 minutes of intense @BeatSaber a few times a week has become part of my quarantine routine. Very motivating for a solo indoor workout and decent results so far. There's definitely some promise in VR fitness for all ages.
@BenVRAR@JohnNosta I was always fascinated with the stereoscopic viewer we had growing up. We took some surgical instruction slides from Underwood & Underwood, and brought them into VR in stereo+added a 3D displacement as an early VR proof of concept: https://t.co/0o7BfYctF0 The original #VRMedEd
Virtually Clean: #VR headsets get sweaty and dirty. That’s a non-starter for patient care. We clean our headsets by hand between uses, but now @cleanboxtech developed this certified cabinet that sterilizes headsets with UV light in 1 minute. An important advance.
