@nasdaily@Grokipedia That’s nice that this easily verifiable personal fact about you, that almost nobody cares about except you, was corrected at your request by Grok. Yay Grok. Buy that falls way short of proof that it is systematically always seeking truth.
@elonmusk This concept is HORRIBLE. Grow up Elon! Judges are tasked with applying THE LAW. They are and must be constrained by the law. They should not be held accountable for the effects of the LAW. Judges often must make difficult choices they don’t personally agree with.
@RobertMSterling Your rant is a crazy fever dream about “the left”. If you are seeing lots of people celebrating, it’s only because the algorithms have you pegged as seeking that kind of outrage. The vast majority of “real people” take no joy in seeing an assasination.
Stop stoking the outrage.
@SolidEvidence Maybe the phrase “stupid vaccine policy” caused some influential followers on X to avoid reposting? Many Xers are very sensitive about their cult leaders being called stupid.
So what’s the solution to this problem? Let everybody rebuild with inferior codes so the next storm or fire will wipe it all out again and the government has to come in with “disaster relief“?
I feel for the people who lost their homes, but beachfront property has its dangers, and building codes have been modernized for a reason.
@Gagheffro@Worldwar_3_ Almost nothing on X is real. If not fabricated, it’s all cherry picked to provoke some kind of response. AI is just taking away the inconvenience of having to manually construct the “truth”.
@breed_full@GavinNewsom Anybody who believes there were armed troops arresting beach goers during Covid here in California is stoopid. C’mon man! If you don’t like California at least complain about something real.
Hey, how can the President threaten to revoke the tax exempt status of an academic university, like Harvard? I thought taxes were stipulated by law, not by command of the Supreme Leader.
@elonmusk Judges interpret and apply the law. If a presidential order is unlawful or reasonably in doubt of being lawful, it is a judge’s duty to decide based on the law. That is not tyranny. Unchecked executive power is tyranny!
