@TDiRubbo13 I was unaware of this! Apple is usually seen as a company with a positive image when it comes to stealing data. I wonder if ulterior motives are coming into play with this and Apple was not completely okay with this. #COMM267
@macketoll If you haven't already, I highly recommend watching the new documentary on Netflix about the corruption of FIFA. It came out in that documentary that Sepp Blatter also took a $10 million bribe from South Africa to give them the 2010 World Cup! #COMM267
This directly goes against the PRSA Code of Ethics with breaches to the honesty, fairness and loyalty sections of that code. It has also created ripple effects which resulted in change of leadership within FIFA. #COMM267

This is a great example of an ethical problem faced by FIFA. In 2015, it was found that the President of FIFA had accepted a bribe from Qatar to allow them to host the 2022 World Cup. It was later found bribes were taken for other past World Cups. #COMM267
@Edickinson2024@ChipotleTweets Good example! Chipotle is good at targeting a younger audience with tweets by using humor. It also directly asks people to reply to the tweet which in turn will create tweets people want to share. #COMM267
@macketoll I like your example! BMW is using current events to create a discussion about one of the most popular TV shows at the moment while still incorporating their own product. This is a good way to increase shares between people about their product. #COMM267
This is an example of "sticky" content posted by Nike. It is quick and to the point which makes it easy for users to share to others. With LeBron being one of the most popular athletes in the world, anytime he is featured in a video it will receive shares. #COMM267
@AlexMartens94 Nice graphic! I liked that you mentioned Hootsuite as a part of the course as I think that helps significantly with seeing what we are learning being put into effect. #COMM267
@AliShort_@FisherNews@ArienRozelle I like your graphic! I think that this class is perfect for someone with any level of knowledge on social media. It shows you everything that you need to know and how to best use social media for your benefit. #COMM267
Anyone who is interested in learning how to market themselves better online or is planning on going into communications should take this class with @ArienRozelle! Check out the graphic that I made below on Social Media Management or #COMM267!
@22Nsmith@netflix I like the connection you made here! I think that a company like Netflix can utilize a platform like TikTok really well. An idea I had was creating short form previews for upcoming Netflix exclusive projects which will help drive interest in these projects. #COMM267
@rquinn__ Good article. I like the connection you made between Tesla and its consumers. I agree with your point that this can benefit Tesla as this is the type of audience that will be in the market for cars in the near future. #COMM267
One of Nike's more popular items are their shoes. Nike could easily use TikTok as a way to promote shoes using short clips which show their release dates so people know this information and can get it straight from the source. #COMM267

This article shows the rise of social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram and the subtle fall of Twitter and FaceBook. A company like Nike could greatly utilize an app like TikTok to upload a shortened video for new products. #COMM267
@22Nsmith@BleacherReport@barstoolsports I tend to prefer the created content rather than curated. I like the content that @barstoolsports is able to create rather than curate such as the livestreams or YouTube videos that they make about working at their office/behind the scenes content. #COMM267
This is an example of created content in the form of an animated series for the upcoming NBA season. This is a smart way for a company like Bleacher Report to be seen as more than just a sports news brand. #COMM267
@Katie_fiannaca Good example! As someone who only uses TikTok to watch other videos rather than create I still appreciate TikTok making guides like this to help others with their content creation on their app whether that is in the form of videos or ads. #COMM267
@rquinn__ I like the example that you used for created content. I also like how The North Face promoted others to post their photos in response to their video which will help drive up The North Face engagement on Twitter.
A content calendar is helpful at keeping all social content organized and knowing when/what type of content is being produced. This helps companies keep track of their goals regarding curated and created content. #COMM267
