@refsupportuk Don’t be so fragile. I’ve criticised your post because it’s intended to be inflammatory. I said you’re undoing your hard work, indicating that I support it.
You represent me as a charity, I am justified in attempting to hold you accountable for your posts.
@refsupportuk We are not above criticism… this is poor refereeing.
My other replies highlight what he could and should have done.
I have poor moments in matches, and if I need to I hold my hands up and admit it. That’s how we develop and progress as referee’s.
@WhistleBlowerDK@refsupportuk Exactly. It’s not as if he has whistle ready to go.. he watches the ball get cleared, he watches the player go past the defender and then he raises his whistle.
I could justify this if he was raising it earlier. It’s clear he’s watched and allowed that play to develop.
@refsupportuk Of course you do. It’s your twitter, your choice.
No one in this thread is justifying referee abuse, I am an active referee, I know exactly what it’s like.
I am asking you to consider whether the way you’ve gone about this is correct? It’s inflammatory and not going to help.
@WhistleBlowerDK@refsupportuk A goal over time? You can literally justify waiting 5 more seconds, if the attacker gets challenged: Easy to blow up. If the attacker is clear it’s easy to justify allowing the goal.
This is incredibly poor refereeing. No one should be supporting this.
