The @collegemedia has awarded the @LUBrownWhite second place nationally in its 2020-21 "Best College Media Outlet of the Year" category in its annual Pinnacle Awards. I am so proud of our hardworking staff comprised of @LehighU from all disciplines.

The Brown & White’s sports team is reporting tonight from the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho for the second round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs between Lehigh and the University of Idaho.
Follow along for updates.
Well, this one was fun. You know I couldn't help myself -- had to find a way to get in on the action @LehighU. Thanks to the @LUBrownWhite for driving this important story, they're the ones on the ground who can cover this better than anyone https://t.co/dLoUMUxv6k
Quick break for some team-building fun — a newspaper towers activity. 😂 I was asked to judge based on height, aesthetic and structural integrity (Lehigh is one of the top engineering schools in the nation, after all). Winner in the last photo. 👍🙌
It’s time for Brown and White Bootcamp Fall 2023! This is our annual orientation for our @LUBrownWhite editors who lead our nationally recognized students publication. #BWBoot
@TrustingNews@SpaceshipMedia We found this during an awesome session at ONA23 led by @mayerjoy and @LDeshan — our video editor @1312_Noir, who was also in the session, led our discussion today.
This semester’s team of more than 160 students (not a typo) will be led by longtime editor @thesambg, who has worked tirelessly this summer to brainstorm and organize his newsroom philosophies and workflows this semester.
This week marked the 75th anniversary of Audree Kirchman becoming the first woman staff writer & columnist at The Brown & White.
She attended Lehigh for summer classes decades before the school fully embraced coeducation, sharing her experience in the column 'Male Bag.'
I shared a press box with Batts for four years while I was on the QC River Bandits beat for the “rival” paper. As so many have said: a truly kind pro who dominated his beat. We’d laugh every single night, and he always had a story or quip at the ready. He will be greatly missed.
Words are difficult to find this morning. Steve Batterson, a sports reporter at the Quad-City Times for 38+ years, died Tuesday afternoon. He was a consummate pro, a workhorse, a great teammate and such a kind-hearted man. He loved his job and did it very well. Rest easy, Batts.
@JeremyLittau @MReiner12@AustinVitelli I picture Reiner printing Austin’s tweet and hanging it on the refrigerator to use as motivation each day until the time came to unearth it six years later
Support student journalism! We have some excellent college and high school news publications in our state, and in the Lehigh Valley, too! (I see you, @StingerEHS)!
Today at the @PNAnews Keystone Awards, @LehighU student journalists at the @LUBrownWhite took home 14 individual and staff awards and the Sweepstakes Award for our division — sort of a best in state! Thank you @WITF for the tour and hospitality, and congrats to all in attendance!
And, finally, congrats to all who were unable to make it but with us in spirit. Many of our winners are already working in media, communication and journalism roles across the nation. We are so proud of you!
