This is a win for every Australian who values our democratic right to freedom of political expression. Zionist zealotry has had to beat a retreat from what was going to be a highly damaging trial.

It was then Israel that began a killing spree of their own people. It was Israel that lied and made made up atrocities that did not happen, and disseminated them across the world to manufacture consent for genocide. It was Israel that refused on October 7 an offer from the resistance to release all of the hostages in exchange for Palestinian hostages already in Israel, dungeons. At the end of the day, everyone in those towns are colonizers.

Thousands filled Auckland’s streets in what organisers called Aotearoa’s largest pro-Palestine protest since the war began — the March for Humanity.

From Aotea Square down Queen Street to Victoria Park, Palestinian flags, chants, and one clear demand cut through the city:Palestine must not be forgotten.

They called for an end to the killing, an end to the blockade, and for New Zealand to stop standing aside. Police put the crowd around 20,000. Organisers said far more. Either way, the streets were packed.

One of the doctors told me that Israel had killed my entire family, including my mother, father, wife, and two children." He told me the story with eyes full of sorrow, pain, and tears.
