Our daughter has with #dipg Brain cancer. There is no cure and typically 9m life expectancy.

@leoringer Couldnt agree more.The FUD quote of 'no one ever got fired for hiring IBM' still rings as true as it did 30 years ago.Long-term retention of those willing to take risks is much more difficult than recruitment as frustration builds over glacial timelines & feeling of wasting time

@leoringer I suppose it's not a metric that bus companies are measured on. If it requires bus comp to invest in up to date kit and doesn't bring any uplift in profit or rep, then absence of incentive to invest instead of other customer journey improvements e.g.wifi, leather seats, cocktails

@thomasforth Always wondered whether they could have a regional dialect version for Mword suggestions - similar to how FIFA on Xbox used to have a Scouse version for voice recognition. Could imagine something similar for writing -> 'you have written batch, do you mean barm?'

@thomasforth Have you been through that tariff list yet@thomasforth! I never knew that anyone even ate sea cucumbers let alone that there was a specified tariff for them (I can confirm googling sea cucumber food sends you down one hell of a rabbit hole)
