I've been trying to ask accused serial sex pest mayor Steven Meiner questions for months and city staff like Daphne Saba ignore emails, delay public records requests and sneak him around city hall and out the back door to avoid the public and press.

My roots in this city go back generations and it's a tragedy how Meiner and his Tonton Macoute have destroyed our beautiful island town.

There are a lot of decent hard-working people working at the city, but they're being held hostage by corrupt and incompetent leadership. Meiner, city mismanager Eric Carpenter, city attorney/mob lawyer Ricardo Dopico, police chief Wayne Jones, and city commissioners have sent a clear message that ethics can be ignored, laws broken and the Constitution violated — without consequence…
