You call it excuses I call it reality. Getting his shoulder shot up, beat to shit by an OL not ready for the moment and underwhelming skill players against league’s top defenses. What a surprise!
MLB owners have created a business model where there is virtually no risk to owning a team. There are somehow MORE penalties for trying to win, spending money, and losing.
If you think a salary cap fixes this, you’re not paying attention. It just guarantees owners can keep collecting money while doing the bare minimum.
Players should NEVER agree to a cap until there are massive penalties for this bottom-feeding billionaire grift.
In the meantime, fans are expected to pay premium prices to watch billionaires refuse to compete.

Medicare for all politician’s wife operates a cash-only medical practice.
Maybe he realizes M4A will accelerate the collapse of government healthcare and will lead to a predominately cash-pay market based system…
A guy can dream, right?
I know there's not a person alive who has any sympathy for LA but this team looks like there's just a ton of holes
maybe it won't matter if Voltron rotation takes over in Oct. But people are going to be stunned if they get bounced early, & don't say you couldn't see it coming
I can appreciate all this, but really... a war between Thrawn and The New Republic belongs on film, and if I take it a step further, itit belongs on high quality animation that can include Luke, Han, and Leia. The time period requires it, sorry.
If you would stop reading ownership propaganda long enough to actually learn about this issue, you would know that MLBPA has proposed overhauling rev sharing to support their floor tax proposal
This would balance out rev gaps without punishing top 15 markets who want to compete
Its so crazy to me how certain people hate all advanced stats on principle when all statcast is is ways to quantify concepts we've known are good or bad for decades
They’re selling the game to private equity right out from underneath you — just like they did with everything else in your life — and you still want to give them the salary cap they want
Stafford low key side steps the whole loaded roster/coaching staff discourse a lot of less favorable QBs get. Especially since he never did shit in Detroit but anywho ..
The worst part of the whole dodgers thing is that their fans don’t even deserve it. Sunday Night Baseball the day after trading for the best pitcher in baseball to add to the greatest roster of all time and the stadium is over half empty. Pathetic fan base in a pathetic city
@CFB_Tradition@BudElliott3 Considering the teams Auburn has fielded the past 5 years, they are exceeding expectations by how close they play top teams at home lol. They are blowouts if away.
