@RetroRGB Is it possible for you to do similar screenshots comparing the quality diff between Rev A and Rev C on firmware 4.1? I get that rev c looks superior… but how much worse does rev a look?
@HDRetrovision@ColoradoDOT Hogan tried to push legislation that would’ve allowed new cars a 6 year period before having to get tested. I didn’t agree with a bunch of stuff he did, but that was completely reasonable to me. I have *never* failed emissions testing.
@HDRetrovision@ColoradoDOT Nope, you’ve been gone for far too long. MD VEIP center is $30. Kiosk is $26. Still completely pointless, though I would say it should be mandatory for like… 20 year old cars.
@TakiUdon_ Any chance you’ll be making a nice looking peripheral that has multiple snac adapters for nes/snes/genesis, etc? You can call it the SNAC Box.
@modretro in previous pr material, I believe you said that more cores (assumedly stuff like snes, etc) will be able to run on the system. Is that still happening? I did not see mention of it in the new material.
@goosed99@Wario64 And then, assuming you plan on sticking with it and using it more than a year, it should really be tuned on a yearly basis. Cables stretch, parts go out of tolerance.
@goosed99@Wario64 Time *or* money. New bikes usually don’t come assembled. Bare minimum you usually have to put the stem and handlebars on, attach the wheels. And then you need to be able to tune it so it shifts well. Cheap components are a pain to tune.
@goosed99@ThatYoungWolf@Wario64 Buy used, get better quality. I’ve bought at least 4 bikes significantly better than this for $50 or less. Most only required basic maintenance. Good shimano parts. Chromoly steel. This is the kind of bike I’d give to a kid that’s going to beat it up and leave in the rain to rot.
@ThatYoungWolf@goosed99@Wario64 These are what I’d consider the bare minimum for a decent bike. FWIW it’s not like I haven’t ridden cheap bikes before. You fight the gear shifters. The V-brakes are going to be fine once you adjust them. Be prepared to set the bike up. It’s a good skill to learn.
@ThatYoungWolf@goosed99@Wario64 If you’re asking for recs: Walmart sells a couple “better value” bikes in the $250-300 range with shimano components, disc brakes, etc. Easily upgradeable, etc. I believe they’re aluminum, so they they’ll be a little stiffer of a ride but more nimble.
