Major cheat code in life: Understanding you can reinvent yourself at any time. New habits, new standards, new friend group, new career, etc. There's no rule that says you have to stay the person you've always been. You're allowed to decide––"I'm done being this version of me."

@CranwellBob Thanks for the tip! 😄

My biggest fear is knowing there must be a book meant to be my absolute favourite, every other sentence worth highlighting and my thoughts meant for its margins, and it could define obsession for me, but life is short and I might never even come across it.

[Maud Melior | Author @maudmelior]

@CranwellBob Wow, that sounds interesting! I will have a look into his books. He sounds like he has some stories to tell..

Why is it so hard for people, especially some wellness influencers, to admit this simple truth….

You can do everything right. You can eat the kale, take the supplements, walk 10k steps a day, lift the weights, meditate, sleep 8 hours, avoid sugar, avoid seed oils, avoid whatever gives you joy in the name of wellness, anddddd you can still get sick.

That doesn’t mean lifestyle doesn’t matter. It does. Immensely.
But it also doesn’t mean you’re to blame when things go wrong. Health is not a merit badge. And illness is not a personal failure.

You’re allowed to try your best and still need help. That’s not weakness. That’s being human and acknowledging our realities.

Driving the Struggle Bus is about learning how to steer, how far to step on the gas and when to break. It’s about learning to enjoy the sights along the way and being okay with wrong turns. 🚌

@lucyturnspages That’s so cute! Keep on creating beautiful things ❤️

We don’t have to be fully healed to fully love. We can continue to heal IN relationship. SO many of our wounds are relational, so we heal through the work of co-creating safety, and learning to repair rupture without shutting down and jetting. Staying through the pain, working through it, and truly seeing one another, IS the ultimate love language. XO, Dr. Jen

You are not who your bullies & abusers tired to convince you you are, & you can do more than your bullies & abusers tried to convince you can.

Recovery requires us to see ourselves through eyes other than those that never believed in or liked us.

My “villain era”—but it’s really just me not being a people pleaser anymore, saying “no” when I need to, and protecting my peace.

@ExploringGenres Such a good feeling when that happens!
