@cgardne15 I would maybe like to look into eating disorders. These apps would help the clients track the amount of foods they eat and how often to bring back and show the dietitian.
@cgardne15 Main goals of clients using apps could be to lose/gain weight, gain muscle mass, keep track of eating and more. Starting to eat healthy is a positive behavior change. FN3100
@cgardne15 Everyone has a different understanding of technology and may not be as up to date. Before making my clients use an app i would educate them on it and make sure they know nothing is going to be 100 percent right #FN3100
@kass133 @cgardne15 The use of apps have many effects on young adults that are not beneficial for them. The apps cause people to watch their weight very closely and exercise way to much.
@cgardne15 There are many drawbacks with using apps. Many young adults become self conscious of their body image and look to use these apps to count calories which is not good.
@GabesGracie @cgardne15 #FN3100 i think it is amazing the amount of behavior changes you can get from people by using an app. It really does encourage healthy eating which is a major goal for people.
@cgardne15 some positives in using apps to facilitate behavior change are it is a consistent way to keep track of exercise, food intake, and much more. This could help others get motivated #FN3100
