From free college tuition for Muslim girls to a ₹100 crore fund for Waqf and Christian properties, is Vijay’s government taking the politics of religious freebies even further than Kejriwal?
While religious appeasement gets priority, major infrastructure projects like Chennai’s second airport have been dropped.
With Tamil Nadu facing massive financial liabilities, the question is simple: appeasement or economy, infrastructure and jobs?
@pujaranaa asks the questions.
Propaganda Alert: Opposition is running a propaganda that petrol pumps shut because E20 poisoned the fuel.
Truth: The government ran a nationwide quality crackdown. Fuel checks covered about 90,000 pumps.
After audit, sales were paused at 2,573 non-compliant outlets. In many cases the issue was a faulty water-detection sensor, a safety lock, not proof the tank was full of contamination. Earlier, 2,000+ samples found only 2 chloride cases.
Govt has increased their purity audits. Water-ingress tests now run 8–12 times a day at nearly 89,000 outlets.
If fuel was wrecked nationwide, roads would be packed with dead cars. They’re not.
Centre tightened checks to protect your engine. Panic skipped the data.
Stop the scare.
Start verifying.
The Indian Express changed its ‘91% of names back in Bengal electoral roll’ headline after backlash over the way it presented SIR data.
The 91% figure applied to just 82,782 appeals disposed of, not the nearly 27 lakh voters marked ‘Not Eligible’.
Read how the original headline created a misleading impression about the Bengal SIR data.

Did you know?
Across India, Center has found 5663 schools with ZERO students
4133 were in Bengal alone!
And 19,502 teachers were "working" also in these schools...
But this will not go viral.
Because liberals say Mamata Banerjee built the best education system in Bengal.
🚨After Nepal, Bihar will be next target for CCP flooding.
"Lhende (Gandak) River in Tibet is blocked, forming a 0.11 sq km lake 18 km upstream from the Nepal-Tibet border. Dam like barrier could break at any time, sending a large amount of water downstream. - Govt of Nepal.
‘Pleasing’ visuals from 40 feet road, Shaheen Bagh.
The beautiful views of potholes, open garbage, rotting waste, filthy sewage.
AAP MLA of this area is Amanatullah Khan (since 2015).
AAP is successfully showing how to do beautification. Some quality lesson this!
From Manmohan Singh to Akhilesh Yadav's rule, Muslims had the first right over resources.
From police postings and recruitment to canal water and handpumps, Muslim preference was built into governance under Mulayam Singh.
How deep did this appeasement run?
@Anurragmishra
In 1950, Nehru sent rice to the Chinese army when it was invading Tibet
In 1962, most of our soldiers died of frostbite bcoz Nehru sent them canvas shoes. They didn't even have woollen clothes
3500 tons of rice to Chinese soldiers but no proper battle gear for the Indian Army
Another ground reality from Punjab’s schools.
Kejriwal was challenging over Punjab’s education model,
but now the reality is being exposed by the government school children themselves.
Three different classes studying in the same room. This is the ground reality.
CJP wale kahan hain? Kab Punjab ke government schools ki asli sachchai dikhane jaayenge?
So, Rahul Gandhi comes gives Moral Lecture on Dressing.
Same Rahul Gandhi was silent on Independence of Hijab wearing woman on his stage.
Same Rahul Gandhi removed Hijab Ban on Schools in Karnataka.
Same Rahul Gandhi has no issue with small girls being forced to wear burqa and Hijab.
📌 Absolute BANGER!

Aatank by Muslims on the night of Eid
On the night of August 26, in Ganesh Nagar, Kandivali, Mumbai, 7–8 people are alleged to have attacked a Hindu family.
It has been reported that even children were assaulted and that a minor girl was dragged by her hair.
The family informed the police by calling 112 and remained at Kandivali Police Station from 12:30 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. However, an FIR was reportedly not registered.
We request the Mumbai Police to conduct a fair and impartial investigation, take immediate legal action against those responsible, and ensure justice for the family.

MRI Machine Scam in Punjab:
• PGI Chandigarh bought the MRI machine for ₹19 crore.
• The Punjab government bought the same MRI machine for ₹29 crore.
• That’s a ₹10 crore difference.
This alleged scam was exposed by their own alliance partner.
In 2019, the Congress govt in Rajasthan launched a campaign called "Ghoonghat Hatao Abhiyan" because ghoonghat is regressive. That’s okay!
But today, after Allahabad High Court rejected the argument that wearing the hijab is an essential Islamic practice. And now, that girl student who filed the petition will have to follow the dress code of the private school.
Congress is defending the hijab over school dress code. And, to defend the hijab, they have now come out in favour of ghoonghat as well. So, ghoonghat which was "regressive", becomes a matter of choice all because they want to defend the hijab over the school dress code.
The judgement was delivered by two Judges - Justice JJ Munir and
Justice Indrajeet Shukla.
If JJ Munir was not part of this judgement, then this judgement would be dismissed as Brahminical Patriarchy.

1. What's wrong with the Giva ad?
Nothing you see on TV/advertisement or/big screen, especially in big budget projects, is innocent or accidental
The Giva ad continues a broader trend in how film-entertainment and ad industries have treated cultural sensitivities of the two majority communities very differently for years - something Gems of Bollywood has exposed so clearly
Look at the way popular culture has marketed Hindu festivals for years. For instance, check any compilation for suggestions for Diwali playlist:
“Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai”
“Let’s Nacho”
“Tamma Tamma Again”
But typical suggestions for Eid playlist:
“Noor-e-Khuda”
“Maula Ali”
“Kun Faya Kun”
Typical media suggestions for Diwali outfit ideas these days: sexualised styling - cleavage, revealing blouses, familiar Bollywood glamour
Typical outfit suggestions for Eid: Rich and covered
This means that they know what cultural sensitivity looks like, what a family gathering looks like, what sanctity of a festival looks like
But they apply it only where they want
The test of their intention is simple. Look at the image attached. Imagine her holding a plate for Iftari and the text saying Eid. Will any brand ever run such an ad?
2. Are these ads really made to increase sales during Rakhi?
The primary purpose of such an advertisement is not to sell jewellery for Rakhi. Conduct a market survey. Show consumers the ad and ask them whether the imagery is prompting them to buy Giva jewellery on Rakhi for their sisters. I doubt the answer would be overwhelmingly yes
Modern advertising works at a deeper level than simply saying buy this product. It is often aimed at shaping long-term attitudes
When the same kind of imagery is repeatedly used around certain festivals, weddings and family occasions, it leads to normalisation of a particular culture
Much of it seems to be aimed at creating a society where every aspect of a woman's life is sexualised. I would say it is the same mindset that wants to legalise adult men having sex with schoolgirls
3. How should the public respond?
Stop treating these celebrities as icons and withdraw your interest from them
The same actress as in the ad did Thumkeshwari item number and then pretended to be Ma Sita on screen - until we vehemently opposed it, ran a campaign, people responded and the movie bombed
Reject them from every aspect of your life where you have a choice
The irony is fucking unbelievable!
The Lower Caste Dalits are demanding 'Sub-Categorisation in Reservations' because they believe the Upper Caste Dalits within the SC category are snatching their share of Quota.
So the Upper Caste Dalit lady says:
"There is no discrimination here. If you work hard, compete on merit, you will earn your share of the seat, regardless of Caste"
DO YOU SEE THE FUCKING HYPOCRISY?
That's exactly what GCs have been saying for decades: Caste doesn't matter; Hardwork and merit do.
But apparently "Merit" becomes a beautiful concept the moment the competition is within the Reserved Category.
You couldn't write a better parody of the entire reservation debate if you tried.
In India, unfortunately, education means school infrastructure, brightly coloured benches, mural paintings on walls, and brightly painted walls. That’s it.
No one talks about the quality of teaching, because the moment the quality of teaching is discussed, merit will be discussed, reservation will be discussed, and no political party is comfortable talking about it.
Vegetables become “vegitable” and deer becomes “dear,” but hey, look at the benches they’re so good! Look at the wall paintings they don’t even look like they belong in a school in India! Show them the quality of education, and it looks like school in Bangladesh.
This is what happens when people who have themselves failed basic exams three times demand improvements in education, while those who are genuinely educated and believe in merit no longer see any hope.
Look at the timing!!
The official River Monsters (rivermonsters_official 1M followers) Instagram account has brought the Jeremy Wade Ganga footage back again on 24 August 2026.
But the footage itself belongs to 2018. Jeremy Wade’s Mighty Rivers was an Animal Planet series released in 2018, and The Ganges was its first episode.
That means the Kanpur shown in this video is an eight-year-old snapshot.
What happened after that snapshot?
- The 20 MLD Jajmau CETP was completed.
- 145 sewerage projects under Namami Gange were completed, creating 4,263 MLD of treatment capacity.
- Industrial BOD load dropped from 26 TPD in 2017 to 10.75 TPD. CPCB now has 112 monitoring locations, including 40 real-time locations.
So the question isn't whether Jeremy Wade's footage was genuine.
It was.
The question is why an official account is putting an eight-year-old snapshot back into the 2026 timeline without making the chronology central to the post.
A historical frame is evidence of history, not evidence of the present. This 2018 footage cannot be used to portray the Ganga in 2026.
Doing so is misleading!!

Suddenly, all the food bloggers and riders in Kolkata have become social activists, making videos about potholes, waterlogging, and traffic jams since 4 May.
Before 4 May, they used to post videos of food and a 600-metre stretch of Biswa Bangla Sarani to show that everything was awesome in Kolkata.
And suddenly, the roads near their homes are broken, with potholes everywhere. Even those living in Metiabruz and Gulshan Colony have started showing the poor condition of their roads.
Before 4 May, they used to live like kings on road filled with gutter water.
